Acoustical Responses of a Human Ear

Abstract

|
The acoustical properties of simultated human ear has been investigated with a probe microphone and a signal analyzer system. The spectral responses over the frequency range of human hearing has been obtained in some varied conditions. The irregular
spectral patterns show that the outer ear canal should be treated as an acoustical cavity with characteristic spectral response.
